Smudgie is a 4 year old blue tortie who is very shy and nervous until she gets to know you. She does not like to be picked up but as she has gained in confidence she is now happy to check the litter trays with me several times a day to ensure that I have cleaned them out properly! She loves sunbathing on her very own shelf in the cat pen. Smudgie lived outside a lot of the time before she came here, but so far has shown little interest in venturing outside. For this reason I have not forced the issue and let her watch the world go by from her shelf. She lets me know when she wants attention and is now happy for me to stroke her and give her lots of kisses on her head! She would probably do best as an only cat so that she could have all your attention!
